The Tourist Attraction

There are many tourist attractions in canada.

My friend has been to Canada and often talked about canada. She said that canada is good-looking and

that it is the good place to live in. That;s why I'll talk about one of the tourist attractions in canada.

It is Victoria.

Victoria is small city in Vancouber island. There are many diverse plants trees because of mild climate.

The urban landscape is so beautiful that the city is called garden city.

It has famous touist attractions such as Butchart Garden and historic sites, so many people visit the city.

According to the survey on tourist attractions, the city hold a high rank.

That's why I recommend the city as the good place to travel.

The taboos

Today I'll talk about canada taboos.

The taboos are similar to Korea's.

First, before you visit someone's house in canada, you have to call him.

In the case that you have urgent business, you alsohad better contact him and visit.

Second, you had not better ask personal questions such as age, academic ability, income and so on.

Koreans tend to ask personal questions naturally to people, so they have to have a care about them.

Third, you had not better eye-contact with people. They considers eye-contact rude. This is the same in

korea.

Last, canadians consider putting on make-up in public places rude. That's why you had better do in

restroom.

The Capital!!

Today, I'll talk about the capital of Canada.

The capital of Canada is Ottawa.

It is located in the southeast of the east Ontario.

In fact, the land was first known to French who lived in the eastern part of Canada.

By late in the eighteenth century, This is the land only trading merchants visit.

by beginning the construction if a canal linking Lake Otario and Lake Ottawa in 1826,

small city forms. The land was first called Bytown after the former, the Brithsh, By.

However, as increasing population in the land and building the city according to a new

plan, the name was changed into Ottawa after the Lake.

The culture about food!!

The big differences between Canada and Korea are.....

First, in canada, food is served in an dish unlike Korea having food in many dishes.

Second, Korean cooks food through diverce recipes such as boiling, frying ,baking and so on. However,
Canadian food cinsists of raw ingredients. Their cooking is very simple.

Then, let's talk about every meal in Canada!!

Breakfast is very simple.
Canadian usually has cereal as breakfast.
However, Koeans consider breakfast very important. That's why they eat much healthy food.

Koreans eat their fill in lunch time.
However, Canadian appease their hunger with moderate amount of food like sandwich.

Their dinner is also simple unlike Koreans
Canadians have food mixed with diverse ingredients like pizza.

In conclusin, Canadian meal culture is much simpler than Korea.
That's why, I think, if koreans go to Canada and follow the culture, they will feel hungry at every meal!

The canadian flag!

The canadian flag has a maple leaf on it. Red of both sides indicates the Pacific and the Antlantic. The red leaf with angles is the symol of Canada, so the flag is also called the maple leaf. However, the candian flag has been changed according to the times.
1868-1921

1921-1957

1957-1965

The canadian government was established under British rule. That's why the former flags have the Union jack. After independence, the Union Jack on the flag disappeared, so the maple leaf in the center of the present flag means the fully independece of Canada.
As you see, The present Maple leaf flag have the history of Canadian independence.
